The Evangelical Covenant Church of Canada was founded in 1904 in Winnipeg, Manitoba by Swedish immigrants who had a passion for God's Word; for those who did not yet know God personally through Jesus Christ; for gathering to worship and for getting together with one another.

We single-mindedly confess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and the Bible as the Word of God, the only perfect rule for faith, doctrine and conduct. As a family of churches, we enjoy diversity in all other matters of faith and practice, refusing to let them divide us or detract from our common mission.
